Veterans Day 2020 Will be Observed on November 11th. Veterans day is Federal Holiday in United State of America. Every Year the Day Celebrate lots of Formalities and Traditions. However, if it occurs on a Sunday then the following Monday is designated as the Federal holiday, and if it occurs on a Saturday then either Saturday or Friday may be designated.
When the Federal holiday and November 11th dates are different, Veterans Day activities may take place on both days; many activities are often scheduled the weekend leading up to Veterans Day even during years when both dates match.
Veterans Day 2020
The theme for the 2020 Veterans Day Poster is: “Vision: Veterans in Focus.” “Looking back on centuries of Veterans’ service and sacrifice and what we have learned from the past, we must always maintain the vision for the future of Veterans. Putting the Veteran at the center, on Veterans Day we continue to honor all who served, while focusing on the needs of the next generation of Veterans.” ~ VA Statement.
Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. For one day, we stand united in respect for you, our veterans. Today we continue to celebrate the day as Veterans Day, still recognizing the original tie with November 11. That means Veterans Day is on the same day every year — November 11 — regardless of on which day of the week it falls.
Veterans Day Wishes 2020
This year’s Veterans Day celebration is especially significant as our country remains committed to fighting the War on Terror and as brave men and women are heroically defending our homeland.
To those seniors, and especially elderly veterans like myself, I want to tell you this: You are not alone, and you having nothing to be ashamed of. If elder abuse happened to me, it can happen to anyone. I want you to know that you deserve better.
Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.
On this Veterans Day, let us remember the service of our veterans, and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free.
My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place—police, firefighters, and members of our armed forces.
